The HRACC was formed as the San Luis Obispo Personnel Association in the early 70's by Mary Moses & others, to provide a networking and professional resource for those responsible for the human resources of their firms. It was a time when the employer-employee relationship was changing & laws governing that relationship were re-defining the profession.

She recently merged her HR Consulting firm, Nash HR Services with United Staffing Associates. In addition to collecting toys for tots & donating to the Salvation Army, members were entertained by the magic of Rich Ferguson & the singing of "Suzie & the Terminators," better known as attorney Susan Waag, United Staffing Associates Branch Manager, Debbie Wheeler, & Nash. Songs included "Generation Y's Lament" (sung to the tune of Leslie Gore's "You Don't Own Me").
