Duties include: Taking responsibility for all aspects of network & systems administration for company including: Development Operations (DEVOPS), systems implementation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, application security, usage monitoring, broadcast & enforcement of system standards, & other work as required; Participating in technical research & development to enable continuing innovation within infrastructure; Assisting project teams with technical issues in all phases of standard project management methodology (includes definition of needs, benefits, & technical strategy, research & development within project life-cycle, technical analysis & design, & support of operations staff in executing, testing, & implementing solutions); Working with people of various professional, vocational, & educational backgrounds. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field & 8 yrs progressive exp. in senior-level technical capacity for medium to large organization with structured IT department OR 12 yrs progressive exp. in senior-level technical capacity for medium to large organization with structured IT department; Basic technical skills that come from degree in Information Systems or 6-8 yrs general analytical exp.; Proficient in Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model, client & server systems, systems analysis & architecture, application configuration & integration, telecommunication administration, organizational techniques, application security administration, backup & disaster recovery systems, & related processes used in company IT department.
