Duties include: Being responsible for complex data processing, creating procedures & systems, providing detailed technical analytics for complex automated process improvement procedures, & design critical & complex core system modifications for company; Interfacing between business & technical teams; Understanding all aspects of technical application development; Performing electronic data interchange (EDI) operations & core system functionality; Independently contributing to EDI team with complex & comprehensive documentation of technical requirements in format that facilitates business & technical communication & understanding amongst business department or individuals; Leading communication & facilitation efforts to present documented findings & results from analytical engagement; Working with & mentoring people of various professional, vocational, & educational backgrounds; Working independently, or under direction of Project Manager or Senior EDI Analyst, with executives, management, staff, or business representatives to identify & document complex business concepts or processing conflicts; Leading & mentoring in areas that need cross-training & independently providing knowledge & documentation exchange to educate team members in analytical roles in support of team redundancy; Providing formal user education with software productivity & technical tools such as SSRS, SSIS, SharePoint, MS Office, Visio, Team Foundation Server, or automation tools to document business & technical process requirements related to technology system; Comprehending, analyzing, & documenting business or process requirements using personal interviews, document analysis, meetings, surveys, process documents, or actual scenarios; Potentially assuming duties of Project Manager for medium to large sized projects using standard PMBOK processes to identify scope, requirements, resources, & stakeholders using standard analysis techniques. Required qualifications: At least 4 yrs exp. developing & maintaining Healthcare EDI X12N transactions, including batch & real-time formats such as: 837I/837P, 274, 834, 835, 270/271; 2 yrs Edifecs hands-on exp. with Healthcare EDI X12N transactions, including analytics, mapping, developing, testing, & deployment; Exp. with HL-7 & NCPDP File Formats, QNXT Healthcare Core Systems, including knowledge of QNXT EDI Manager & QNXT Connect (MS BizTalk); Ability to independently analyze data, draw sound conclusions, & interpret & follow detailed & precise written & oral instructions such as checklists; Possess strong proven, hands-on exp. & understanding of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) formats that govern healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI); Possess advanced, working knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) & Agile Scrum Methodologies; Exp. with Tableau preferred.
