Childcare Assistant

Will assist with classroom & playground activities for children in before & after school childcare at 2 elementary schools in Arroyo Grande, CA. Duties include: Providing individual & group activity supervision indoors & outdoors; Assisting in maintaining group discipline; Assisting with homework & helping as needed during school year; Assisting in set-up & clean-up of arts & crafts, sports, games, snacks, & special events; Supporting policies & goals of childcare facility; Attending site staff meetings biweekly & area staff meetings once a month; Assisting teacher in preparation of materials; Performing other duties as assigned by childcare site teacher. Required qualifications: Possess at least 3 units of Early Childhood Education; 1 yr. exp. in Childcare. Wage: $16.00+ hr. DOE. (#2.0317.406 – San Luis Obispo)
