Needed in Santa Maria, CA. Duties include: Preparing & collecting necessary paperwork for certification & recertification of apartment applicants & residents; Processing, preparing, & signing all leases & related forms; Maintaining general office files; Collecting rents, cable, & electric, preparing receipts, & handling delinquent rents; Making bank deposits; Maintaining resident ledger; Answering telephone; Preparing & submitting Section 8 vouchers; Preparing & submitting Excess Income; Preparing invoices for payment & writing checks; Mailing checks & filing invoices; Communicating with bookkeeper, auditors, & HUD; Maintaining open communications with residents; Attending meetings & presentations as requested with Board of Directors; Attending seminars & out-of-town training. Will not be on call or “show” apartments. Required qualifications: High school diploma/GED; Min. 2 yrs exp. in property management company or similar exp. operating in HUD housing development; Proficient in use of all MS Office applications as well as Realpage/Onesite Property Management Software system; Pass background check & drug screening; Good oral & written skills; Close eye-hand coordination & body movements such as sitting, kneeling, bending, standing, stooping, & lifting. Mon-Fri/8:00am-4:30pm. Wage: $27.00-$29.00 hr. DOE. (#3.0515.102 – Santa Maria)
