Under minimal supervision, will perform variety of highly technical payroll accounting duties to ensure employees are paid in accurate & timely manner. Duties include: Receiving, reviewing, entering, auditing, & processing payroll data; Maintaining payroll records; Preparing various payroll-related reports in compliance with federal & state rules, ensuring adherence to established payroll policies, procedures, rules, & regulations; Preparing & processing post-payroll payments including tax, retirement, & employee contribution plan payments; Communicating with employees & managers regarding payroll inquiries; Performing related work as assigned. Required qualifications: Associate’s degree in related field or professional payroll certification; Excellent computer skills including MS Word & Excel. Knowledge of computerized payroll processing & electronic timekeeping systems desirable. Full-time, Temporary position. Wage: $30.00-$33.00 hr. (#4.1025.106 – San Luis Obispo)
