Process Molding Technician

Needed in Riverside, CA. Duties include: Following safety requirements & safety training program procedures; Assisting Molding Techs in lubing, cleaning, & daily mold maintenance on presses; Communicating with Molding Techs to determine needs & gaps & communicating to management; Maintaining supply of grease, wipes, & any necessary tools to adequately perform mold maintenance across all 3 shifts; Ensuring mold maintenance logs are properly kept & maintained; Periodically interacting with 2nd & 3rd shift; Inspecting molds after set-up is completed for following: water leaks, loose water hose clamps, improper k.o bars, or any mechanical malfunction of mold that may prevent proper production run; Adhering to all company safety procedures & maintaining clean work area; Continuously performing checks & monitoring mold surface temperatures; Checking wear & tear on any parts of tool; Performing change overs/configuration changes while enabling tool to keep running & not have to be pulled out of press to lose production time; Developing set up kits for every mold including hose kits & any equipment needed. Required qualifications: 1-3 yrs exp.; Computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, etc.); Ability to understand Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) & Good Documentation Practices (GDP); Able to maintain clean room, standard practices, & housekeeping according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) & Work Instructions (WI). Knowledge of IQMS a plus. During downtime or completion of duties, this position will be allowed to train on Routsis & also with technicians on process-related trainings. 2nd shift/2:45am-3:15pm.
