Needed for leading global Mining-Tech company shaping the future of mining by questioning the status quo. Duties include: Leading, developing, & managing product development on global scale for defined, mining-tech product; Managing full product lifecycle from opportunity assessment through to product retirement; Developing key relationships & driving alignment across product development, engineering, manufacturing, Executive, & Strategic Business Units; Conducting early stage opportunity assessment for new products using lean canvas, discovery interviews, or other methods; Managing new product through engineering process by consulting with engineering team & seeking ongoing validation from customers; Managing product development road map & plan/budget; Creating product marketing strategy & tactics for marketing campaigns in partnership with marketing department; Providing product support to customers; Developing retirement or replacement plans for products; Analyzing similar products offered by competitors; Relaying key stakeholder feedback & trends to prioritize product development; Educating & communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; Designing product launch strategy including pricing, launch planning, branding, positioning & messaging, & finding product-market fit; Creating product growth strategy by focusing on scaling product in market, working with internal channels, growth hacking, scaling methods, & Pirate Metrics; Consulting with commercial & marketing teams to design content for demonstrations & proposals; Presenting content at internal & external conferences, industry groups, or online forums to build brand. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, or other relevant subject; 5+ yrs exp. in similar product manager position, preferably in resources industry; Domain knowledge in either geology, drilling, fluids, or mining. Hardware or software engineering knowledge & IP awareness preferred.
