Under direction of Facilities Director, will plan, direct, &/or coordinate buying, leasing, & governance activities of agency's properties & be responsible for overseeing maintenance & upkeep of agency properties. Duties include: Maintaining Facilities lease files; Monitoring property lease expiration dates; Following lease extension/renewal process guidelines; Initiating lease process & monitoring process from request for new site through to completion to ensure executed agreements are completed before lease date deadlines; Working with appropriate Finance staff to coordinate first month’s lease payment, along with deposit & any other special arrangements made as part of lease agreement; Meeting with internal clients to determine needs for new facility; Working with real estate brokers to locate & procure sites; Engaging in price negotiations; Coordinating various tenant improvement projects; Maintaining spreadsheet of property leases & storage units; Reviewing with CFO annually for insurance renewals; Receiving contracts for new storage units; Obtaining internal approvals & CEO signature; Annually updating agency list of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) contracts; Filing property related insurance claims & following process through to completion; Processing requests for Program & Additional Insured requests for Insurance Certificates of Liability Insurance; Taking care of business license renewals; Updating Facilities Director on progress of various tasks & assignments. Required qualifications: At least 3+ yrs property coordination/construction management exp.; Previous exp. with MS Office applications; Ability to travel to & from property sites. Full-time position with possibility of Temp-to-Hire. Wage: $20.00-$28.59 hr. (#2.1108.406 – San Luis Obispo)
