Needed in Lompoc, CA. Duties include: Ensuring all equipment is set up, calibrated, & functioning properly throughout shift; Keeping all equipment that is used clean, in your area at all times, & prepared for next run; Performing several checks to batches that will be outlined by Manager/Supervisor; Using following equipment (thermometers, thermocouples, microscope, viscometer, scientific balance, color analyzer, water activity measuring devices, pH meter, etc.); Obtaining liquid ingredient samples from bulk containers & performing testing on them; Recommending adjustments be made to batches by adding or subtracting ingredients; Monitoring process by checking weights, charts, codes, labeling, temperatures, & performing hourly finished products analysis. 8 hr. shift. 1st shift. Wage: $18.00 hr. (#3.0221.202 – Santa Maria)
