Seeking a talented & experienced Senior Managed IT Engineer to support the diverse IT needs of our business customers. This role works hands-on with advanced server, network, & infrastructure environments while also providing Tier 2 support to our internal technical team. You will be directly involved in designing & implementing high-impact technical solutions, resolving complex IT issues, & ensuring our customers receive fast, professional, & top-quality service. Support is provided remotely, in-office, or onsite at customer locations. Duties include: Managing & maintaining IT infrastructure for Managed IT clients; Diagnosing & resolving advanced IT issues for consulting & Managed IT customers; Designing & implementing scalable, future-proof technical solutions; Configuring & troubleshooting VoIP services & hardware; Providing coaching, guidance, & training to team members; Responding to customer requests via phone, email, & onsite visits; Serving as resource for Tier 2 escalations. Required qualifications: Associate’s degree in technology field or equivalent industry exp.; 5+ yrs IT help desk or technical support exp. (preferred); Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; Strong customer service background; Exp. with MS Windows Server & Windows desktops, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, SQL Server, & Office 365 administration & line-of-business applications (QuickBooks, EMR, etc.); Prior use of RMM, CRM, or remote access tools; Advanced networking exp. (firewalls, switches, VPN, NAT/port forwarding); Strong problem-solving & root-cause analysis skills; Excellent professional communication skills (phone, email, in-person); Ability to work independently & manage tasks from start to completion; Desire to learn & take on new challenges; Strong personal accountability & time-management skills; Ability to meet deadlines & prioritize workloads; Commitment to maintaining OACYS service standards. CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Server+, Microsoft certifications, & equivalent technical certifications preferred.
