Tank Preparer

Duties include: Installing fittings & assembling tanks per approved customer spec; Quality checking every item per company standards; Working with standard cutting & drilling tools; Cleaning tanks & preparing parts for shipment; Moving tanks from machine area to tank prep area; Inspecting all tanks, ensuring no defects; Using variety of hand tools & power equipment to perform necessary trimming & assembly operations required to meet part specifications; Cleaning tanks inside & out with clean water; Preparing for shipping by boxing, palletizing, shrink wrapping, or banding as required; Cleaning tools, workspace, & floors as needed & at end of each shift; Performing any additional tasks as required by supervisor. Required qualifications: Basic working knowledge of hand tools & power tools; Ability to retain instructions & work independently; Well organized; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely; Able to follow all safety guidelines, policies, & procedures; On time every day as per schedule. Overtime including Saturdays required (when needed). Additional training in plastic welding, spin welding, & forklift certification will be provided for qualifying applicants. 6:30am-3:00pm, OT & Saturdays. Wage: $17.00 hr. (#1.1020.417 – Corona)
