Tasting Room Manager

Need enthusiastic & talented Tasting Room Manager to enhance journey of each guest through art of wine tasting for charming, local, family-owned winery in Paso Robles, CA. Duties include: Supervising daily functions of tasting room, ensuring smooth operations & outstanding service; Providing thrilling & memorable tastings & tours while engaging with guests & making their visits enjoyable; Hiring, training, coaching, & supervising tasting room staff to create cohesive team dedicated to guest service; Creating schedule accordingly to needs of business; Organizing events & curating exclusive VIP tastings that showcase winery's offerings; Generating performance metrics & closely monitoring sales results to drive overall business growth; Collaborating with winemakers & production staff to enhance your wine knowledge & share insights with guests & staff; Conducting regular inventory to ensure product availability for guests; Completing cash register transactions & performing daily accounting & auditing for sales; Overseeing cleaning & merchandising of tasting room for welcoming atmosphere; Managing reservations for tastings & events efficiently. Required qualifications: At least 21 years of age; Min. 2 yrs winery tasting room exp.; Min. 1 yr. management exp.; Deep passion for wine & strong knowledge of wine varieties & pairings; Exceptional verbal & written communication skills to engage effectively with guests & staff; Familiarity with MS Office, QuickBooks, & Point of Sale (POS) systems. Schedule: 5 days a week, weekends, & holidays included. Wage: $68,000-$75,000 yr. + Bonus.
