Wine Harvest Cellar Worker

Needed for 2023 Wine Harvest season to assist wineries in North SLO County & King City area, CA. You will play critical role in ensuring successful production of high-quality wines by assisting with various tasks in the cellar. Temporary role that offers hands-on opportunity to contribute to winemaking process. Duties include: Operating winery equipment including crush, press, pumps, & other machinery; Assisting with cleaning, sanitizing, & setting up necessary equipment; Monitoring & regulating fermentation temperatures; Performing punch-downs, pump-overs, & other cellar operations; Assisting in barrel room with racking, topping, & cleaning; Following all safety procedures & policies to ensure safe working environment for all winery workers. Required qualifications: Strong communication skills; Strong attention-to-detail; Ability to work as part of team; Ability to effectively understand both verbal & written instruction. Previous exp. working in winery or during harvest season desirable but not required. 6-day work week schedule. Temporary position. Wage: $15.50+ hr. DOE. (#3.0810.501 – Paso Robles)
