Meet the Team

David has been a leader in the staffing industry since 1992 and founded United Staffing Associates in 2002 after building extensive experience in accounting and operations with several California employment agencies. What began as a locally focused staffing company has grown into a multi-location organization built on relationships, responsiveness, and community involvement.

Known for his visionary, hands-on leadership approach, David remains actively involved in recruiting, interviewing, mentoring, and supporting employees throughout the organization while working closely with branch operations across multiple regions. With a background in finance, accounting, business operations, and workplace safety, he continues to lead the company with a strong focus on people, long-term partnerships, and connecting businesses with quality workforce solutions.

William holds a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Tax Accounting from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law, and is admitted to practice law in California, New York, and New Jersey. Before joining United Staffing Associates, he served in legal and compliance roles at several global financial services firms, advising on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, employment law, and commercial transactions.

He serves on the San Luis Obispo County Workforce Development Board, is a Court Appointed Special Advocate for at-risk youth, and is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel.

Susan joined United Staffing Associates in 2004 and has played a key role in overseeing the company's financial operations and accounting functions for more than two decades. Prior to joining, she worked for a Fortune 500 company in Iowa while earning her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa.

After relocating to California, Susan became an integral part of the company's continued growth, bringing a strong foundation in accounting, financial management, and operational support to the organization.

Based in the Central Valley, Julie is an experienced and dependable member of the United Staffing Associates team, providing operational and client support while assisting with accounts receivable functions across the company. Her strong attention to detail, consistency, and commitment to service make her an essential part of daily operations and client relationships throughout the organization.

Before joining in 2002, Julie spent 10 years with the City of Tulare in multiple administrative and community support roles, including Senior Services. That experience helped build the communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills she continues to bring to her role today — along with valuable regional knowledge and longstanding community connections throughout the Central Valley.

Shawnté joined United Staffing Associates in 2016 bringing 15+ years of experience as a senior human resources, compliance, safety, and legal professional across the entertainment, health & beauty, medical, and grocery retail industries. She serves as part of the Human Resources & Legal team and acts as in-house counsel for United Staffing Associates' California and Nevada operations.

Donna joined United Staffing Associates in 2016 following a 26-year career in public safety communications, including leadership roles as a Police Dispatch Supervisor for the cities of Porterville and Irvine. Her experience working in fast-paced emergency dispatch environments strengthened her skills in communication, training, oversight, and operational consistency.

Having lived and worked in both the Central Valley and Southern California, Donna brings valuable regional insight and a strong commitment to supporting efficient operations and exceptional client service throughout the company.

Greg brings more than 35 years of experience in graphic design, publishing, print production, and creative communications, along with a strong background in programming and technical support. Prior to joining United Staffing Associates, he served as Director of Communications and Graphic Designer for a large nonprofit organization, where he led branding, publication, and visual communication initiatives.

Based in Chandler, Arizona, Greg helps shape the company's visual identity through advertising design, website support, logo development, branded materials, and trade show environments that strengthen the United Staffing Associates brand across multiple markets.

Wendi joined United Staffing Associates in 2004 and has played a key role in shaping the company's marketing strategy, brand development, and public presence for more than two decades. She holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration in Business Marketing.

Wendi leads the company's branding, advertising, communications, media relations, digital presence, trade show marketing, and creative initiatives. Her passion for brand integrity, community engagement, and strategic marketing continues to strengthen the company's visibility, culture, and reputation across the regions it serves.

Joaquin brings more than 18 years of health and safety experience to United Staffing Associates. He began his career with the company in 2007 as a Health and Safety Associate, advanced into senior leadership roles, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University. In 2018, he expanded his expertise by joining a family-owned agricultural company as District Safety Manager, overseeing safety operations and risk reduction for employees throughout California and Mexico.

Joaquin returned to United Staffing Associates in 2025 and now leads the company's health and safety division through strategic leadership, training, compliance oversight, and proactive risk management initiatives designed to support both employees and clients.

As Director of Operations, Kyle helps drive efficiency, innovation, and operational consistency across United Staffing Associates. Since joining the company in 2016, he has played an active role in supporting branch teams, implementing new technologies, improving workflows, and solving operational challenges throughout the organization.

With previous leadership experience in the retail and financial industries, Kyle brings a strong background in team development, customer service, and organizational support. Known for his hands-on approach and problem-solving mindset, he works closely with teams across multiple regions to help strengthen operations and support continued company growth.
