Accounting Manager - Finance

Needed for General Ledger & Financial Accounting. Duties include: Ensuring compliance with GAAP & company accounting policies; Handling month-end close, including running & reviewing month-end ERP reports & investigating unusual fluctuations; Handling cash & bank reconciliations monthly; Preparing bi-weekly payroll journal entries; Handling inventory & cost accounting as well as daily monitoring; Maintaining accurate & complex fixed assets register; Maintaining & reconciling accrual accounts monthly Handling compliance & process improvement by supporting external audits & other financial reviews. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting &/or finance; Min. 5 yrs progressive accounting exp.; Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, U.S. GAAP, & internal controls; Proficiency in ERP systems & financial reporting tools, with ability to learn new systems & processes quickly; Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. 40-hr. week.
