Automotive Technician II

United Staffing Associates is recruiting for an experienced Automotive Technician II to join a growing, professional automotive service operation. The Automotive Technician II will perform diagnostic, maintenance, & repair work across a wide range of domestic & import vehicles. The ideal candidate is a dependable, experienced technician who can work independently, diagnose problems accurately, & take pride in completing repairs correctly the first time. Duties include: Performing diagnostics & repairs on variety of vehicle systems; Diagnosing electrical & drivability concerns; Performing brake, steering, suspension, & chassis repairs; Completing engine & drivetrain repairs as qualified; Performing preventative maintenance & general automotive service; Using professional diagnostic equipment & scan tools; Following manufacturer procedures & industry best practices; Inspecting vehicles & identifying additional repair needs; Maintaining accurate & thorough documentation of work performed; Completing work efficiently while maintaining high standard of quality & safety; Continuing developing skills as automotive technology evolves, including hybrid & EV systems. Required qualifications: 3+ yrs hands-on automotive technician exp. preferred; Exp. working independently on variety of vehicle makes & models; Strong diagnostic & mechanical skills; Ability to diagnose electrical & mechanical concerns; Professional approach to workmanship & customer safety; Reliable attendance & strong work ethic; Ability to prioritize & manage multiple repair orders.
