Deli Worker

United Staffing Associates is recruiting on behalf of a well-established convenience store in North County seeking a friendly and dependable Deli Worker to prepare breakfast and lunch items while providing welcoming, attentive service to customers.

In this role, you will prepare a variety of menu items, keep the deli area clean and well organized, and assist customers with menu questions and selections. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to gain experience in a fast-paced food service environment.

Key Responsibilities:
        •  Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
        •  Prepare ingredients and keep deli items well stocked
        •  Prepare customer orders, including sandwiches and wraps
        •  Follow proper handwashing, sanitation, and food safety procedures
        •  Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area

Qualifications & Experience:
        •  Strong communication skills with team members and customers
        •  Ability to multitask and assist multiple customers during busy periods
        •  Dependable and team-oriented
        •  Comfortable standing for extended periods
        •  Prior food service experience is a strong plus

Job Type:
Temp-to-hire, full-time

Schedule:
Currently Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Schedule is subject to change based on business needs.

Compensation:
$21.00 per hour
