Shipping and Receiving Clerk
United Staffing Associates is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a growing manufacturing company in Paso Robles. This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity for someone who is ready to take ownership of incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments and help keep daily operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and documentation, and ensure proper storage.
- Safely operate forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility.
- Prepare and process shipments using carriers such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, Mountain Valley, and others.
- Use carrier websites to schedule pickups, create shipping labels, track shipments, and bill freight charges to customer or client shipping accounts.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including packing slips, bills of lading, Certificates of Conformance (COC), and Certificates of Analysis (COA), as required.
- Package, label, and organize finished products for shipment according to customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
- Coordinate with production, customer service, and carriers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve shipping issues.
- Keep shipping, receiving, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ year previous shipping and receiving experience, including familiarity with carrier websites and shipping documentation.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment; forklift certification is a plus.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Schedule:
First shift starting as early as 6am.
Compensation:
$20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
