Warehouse Manager

United Staffing Associates is seeking a dependable Warehouse Manager for a small, local, & thriving business in San Luis Obispo, CA. This company specializes in electric bikes & scooters. The ideal candidate possesses a high attention-to-detail, a positive attitude, a willingness to be a team player, & is willing to do lower-level work with the team of six people you supervise. Duties include: Overseeing daily warehouse operations & workflow; Supervising, training, & providing direction to warehouse team; Receiving, inspecting, organizing, & properly storing materials & products; Picking, packing, staging, & preparing orders for shipment or delivery; Maintaining accurate inventory records; Conducting regular inventory counts; Investigating & resolving inventory discrepancies; Ensuring warehouse is clean, organized, & maintained in safe & efficient manner; Coordinating shipments, deliveries, & pickups; Monitoring inventory levels & communicating purchasing/replenishment needs; Ensuring products & materials are properly labeled, stored, & handled with care; Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, & other equipment as needed; Establishing & maintaining efficient warehouse procedures & organization systems; Ensuring orders are completed accurately & on schedule; Assisting with loading & unloading materials; Communicating warehouse activities with ownership, vendors, customers, & other employees; Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, & inventory accuracy; Performing other duties as assigned. Required qualifications: 3+ yrs relevant exp.; Proficiency with basic computer skills; Proficiency with MS Excel, Google Sheets, & Gmail/Outlook. Full-time, Temp-to-Hire position.
