United Staffing Associates is seeking a collaborative financial leader to direct the full range of financial operations & support the growth of a financially healthy company. The CFO plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity, strengthening internal controls, guiding decision-making, & enhancing overall efficiency. Duties include: Conducting financial management & reporting; Overseeing all core accounting activities including general ledger, payables/receivables, payroll, & monthly close; Ensuring timely, accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP; Maintaining strong reconciliation practices & keeping organization audit-ready; Monitoring cash flow, liquidity, & working capital to support healthy financial operations; Delivering monthly & quarterly financial reports & dashboards to senior leadership, highlighting performance trends & key metrics; Leading annual budget development in partnership with department managers; Preparing financial forecasts & conducting variance analyses to identify risks & opportunities; Performing financial modeling & scenario planning to support long-term business strategy; Developing & maintaining robust internal control processes to protect company assets & ensuring compliance with tax & accounting requirements; Coordinating annual tax filings, audits, & regulatory submissions with external accounting partners; Documenting & maintaining standardized accounting policies & procedures; Managing ERP platform & ensuring effective financial system utilization; Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows; Enhancing reporting capabilities; Improving overall efficiency; Collaborating with Operations, IT, & other departments to strengthen system integrations & real-time financial visibility; Acting as strategic financial advisor to owners & senior executives; Providing insights that inform business & operational decisions; Providing leadership/mentorship & supporting accounting & finance team; Collaborating across departments to ensure financial data aligns with organizational priorities; Supporting initiatives related to cost optimization, capital planning, & long-range forecasting. Required qualifications: Active CPA license; MBA in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent working exp.; 10+ yrs exp. in progressive accounting & financial leadership; Background in manufacturing, logistics, or e-commerce is highly valuable; Background in GAAP, cost accounting principles, & ERP solutions; Adaptability, initiative, & proactive approach to meet new goals; Ability to balance new initiatives & active operations; Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, & communication skills; Proven ability to build effective teams & collaborate across functions.
