Citrus Nursery Supervisor

Needed for operational oversight of citrus greenhouses (seed to 2 yr. old trees) in Orange Cove, CA. Duties include: Managing greenhouse energy usage to optimize plant growth; Supervising best use of chemicals & fertilizers as required; Maintaining plant health in nursery, transport, & orchard; Organizing & maintaining greenhouse records; Complying with industry & governmental regulatory requirements; Managing nursery personnel; Following up with plants in orchard. Required qualifications: 5+yrs exp.; Horticultural knowledge (AA degree or higher); General math skills & computer proficiency; Ability to operate forklift & pallet jack; Able to work long hrs. based on seasonality.
