Driller Operator

Needed in Paso Robles, CA. Will oversee drilling operations & assist with leadership of crew. Role is physically demanding, requiring overtime & double-time, extended work weeks, & out-of-area travel as needed. Duties include: Operating & maintaining drill rigs, supplies, tools, machinery, & equipment; Leading team of rig hands, & training & mentoring crew members to enhance their skills & performance; Planning & coordinating drilling activities according to project requirements, timelines, & budgets; Monitoring progress, troubleshooting, & making adjustments, escalating issues as necessary; Practicing & enforcing safety protocols & regulations, ensuring safe working environment; Collaborating with & following instruction of field leadership to achieve project objectives; Tracking jobsite data & completing reports as necessary. Required qualifications: 1+ yrs proven exp. as Driller/Rig Operator; Excellent team management skills with ability to motivate & inspire crew members; Ability to work independently & collaboratively in fast-paced environment; Commitment to safety, quality, & environmental stewardship; Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written) & problem-solving abilities; Ability to work mandatory overtime (12+ hr. shifts) including overnight shifts; Ability to travel to worksites outside of area for extended periods of time; Strong problem-solving abilities & attention-to-detail. Commercial License Class A or B is a plus. Full-time, Temp-to-Hire position. Wage: $25.00 hr. (#4.0416.101 – Paso Robles)
