Drywall Installer

United Staffing Associates is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer for a position working with licensed contractor specializing in the installation, repair, & finishing of drywall. This position is full-time, assisting with all phases of the project, alongside a team of licensed drywallers. Projects are primarily within San Luis Obispo County & reliable transportation is necessary for jobsite arrival. Duties include: Hanging drywall panels with precision including aligning, leveling, & securing them to framing or ceilings using appropriate fastening methods; Applying joint compound & tape to seams, expertly blending surfaces for smooth & seamless finish; Patching & repairing damaged areas, restoring walls & ceilings to their original glory; Applying texture to drywall surfaces as needed to achieve aesthetic effects or to match existing textures; Inspecting drywall installations for quality & making necessary adjustments or corrections to achieve desired results; Keeping work areas clean & clear of debris to ensure safe & organized work environment. Required qualifications: Experienced in using drywall tools & equipment; Strong knowledge of installation methods & best practices; Ability to accurately measure & cut drywall panels; Strong attention-to-detail with ability to follow instructions; Effective communication & customer service skills; Ability to work safely in fast-paced environment while meeting quality standards; Reliable transportation. Anticipated work schedule is Mon-Fri/8:00am-4:30pm (may vary based on project timelines & scheduling). Wage: $20.00-$35.00 hr. DOE. (#5.1210.101 – Paso Robles)
