Fabrication Steel MIG Welder

Needed in Ontario, CA. Duties include: Performing MIG Welding with high-quality welds that meet industry standards; Prepping fit (tack/angle/plate); Reading & interpreting blueprints, schematics, & technical drawings to determine project specifications; Utilizing hand tools, power tools, & welding equipment safely & effectively; Conducting fabrication tasks including cutting, pipe threading, & hole punching & drilling; Operating machinery such as welders, drills, press, saws, & cutting tools safely; Conducting fabrication on mild steel production weldments; Maintaining clean & organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Required qualifications: 3 yrs exp. in welding & fabrication mild steel & various welding techniques; Exp. operating forklifts; Strong understanding of fabrication techniques related to sheet metal work; Ability to read blueprints & schematics; Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, & other measuring tools for precise work; Attention-to-detail & ability to work in fast-paced metal fabrication shop. Hours/6:00am-3:00pm, possible OT. Wage: $20.00-$21.50 hr. DOE. (#5.1017.121 – Ontario)
