Will be responsible for day-to-day HR/Operational policies, procedures, & protocols. Duties include: Managing training & development programs for all staff; Actively searching, creatively designing, & implementing effective methods to educate, enhance, & recognize performance; Ensuring compliance with employment laws, business practices, & HR policies by providing support to all staff; Communicating various human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, & government regulations to management & staff; Developing, recommending, & implementing personnel policies & procedures; Providing support & guidance to HR staff; Liaising between departments or other groups to improve function or communication; Providing human resources expertise & guidance to assist supervisors & managers in resolving performance concerns, disciplinary action, & conflict management issues; Preparing & maintaining handbook on policies & procedures. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, or liberal arts or 5 yrs exp. in progressively responsible business positions; At least 2 yrs exp. in corporate or business setting, preferably in human resources, personnel, or administration; Proficient skill using MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint; Excellent communication & relationship building skills (listening, speaking, writing).
