Needed to join dynamic kitchen team at renowned winery & restaurant for busy summer season. Fantastic opportunity for individual who is available to work weekends but prefers day shift schedule – keep your evenings free! Duties include: Preparing & cooking delicious dishes by following recipes & utilizing various cooking methods such as grilling & frying; Setting up & stocking cook stations with all necessary supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations; Maintaining cleanliness & adhering to hygiene standards to ensure safe & sanitary work environment; Properly using & maintaining all kitchen equipment to uphold safety & quality standards. Required qualifications: Valid Food Handler Card or willingness to complete training to obtain one; Proven cooking skills with prior exp. in restaurant setting, particularly in preparing hot meals using different methods; Strong teamwork skills with ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff & other team members; Excellent communication skills to ensure clear & efficient interaction within kitchen; Reliable & responsible attendance to maintain consistent kitchen operations. Estimated weekly hours ranging from 24-32 hrs per week. Weekend required. Shift times fall between 9:00am-6:00pm. Full-time, Temporary position. Wage: $17.50-$20.50 hr. DOE.
