Maintenance Technician (Small Engines)

Needed in Bakersfield, CA. Duties include: Installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, & repairing various equipment & machinery used in manufacture of asphalt; Troubleshooting & repairing Hydraulic systems; Troubleshooting electrical heating systems; Installing, repairing, & rebuilding different styles of pumps & motors; Making service calls to troubleshoot & repair equipment when needed; Working with customers, troubleshooting equipment issues; Working in often hot & dirty environment; Lifting minimum of 50 lbs. Required qualifications: 2-3 yrs mechanic exp. with diesel/gas equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment (hot rubber machines); Active knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, & plumbing; Troubleshooting skills.
