Onsite Administrative Assistant

Needed in Dinuba, CA. Duties include: Consistently executing recruiting plan to ensure right quantity & quality of talent; Ensuring coverage & getting complete head count in timely manner; Attending daily meetings with management to determine business needs; Maintaining quality standards for temporary employees & evaluating their performances; Helping employees with requests in timely manner; Confirming schedule with employees for following day; Notifying employees of schedule changes in timely manner; Performing regular walkthroughs in plant; Performing daily safety/GMP inspections; Coaching employees on violations; Making sure all employees are wearing necessary PPE; Reporting all attendance & compliance issues including safety & GMP & necessary corrective actions; Coaching & counseling employees to ensure high quality performance; Following up on counseling & corrective action plans; Following & enforcing GMP & Safety guidelines & policies; Reporting any policy violations to Management/HR team & USA Representative; Responding to incidents in timely manner, being present during all investigations; Completing necessary incident forms; Maintaining availability for when new employees arrive to greet employees & assist in directing them to orientation; Taking employees to their designated work area, showing employees where breakroom, restrooms, & onsite office are located; Reviewing attendance issues & call outs received by branch reps & reporting any employees that no called/no showed; Reporting any unusual activity to HR; Maintaining strong communication with supervisors, Managers, HR team, & USA representatives; Communicating on regular basis with Safety team & management. Required qualifications: 1 yr. exp. working in production or packing house environment; Computer literate in MS Excel & Outlook; Sense of urgency & attention-to-detail; Flexible to train on 1st shift & transition to work 2nd shift when season starts.
