Quality Control Supervisor

Needed in Hanford, CA. Duties include: Analyzing nearly finished product samples daily for quality, durability, safety, & product specifications before final stage of production; Evaluating materials routinely used during production, work environment, & components during production by running specific tests of quality; Investigating customer or in-house issues related to product quality or performance; Documenting quality assurance practices by entering data into logbooks, noting information in computer databases, & recording all inventory & actions; Ensuring, during all parts of production schedule, that product meets all guidelines related to federal, state, & local regulations that pertain to industry; Communicating with management & other team members when problems arise & offering possible solutions to help correct any mistakes during manufacturing; Assessing quality assurance strategies periodically to determine best practices & improvements that could lead to fewer problems & interruptions in production schedule; Collaborating with Team Leads & assisting Quality Control Supervisors; Working in laboratory as necessary for aflatoxin & paperwork needs; Performing other duties as assigned. Required qualifications: Computer proficiency in MS Office. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Biological Sciences, Food Science, or related field preferred. 3-5 yrs exp. in manufacturing environment preferred. 2nd shift/2:30pm-11:00pm. Temp-to-Hire position.
