Sr. Diesel Mechanic

Needed in Anaheim, CA. Duties include: Performing brake system diagnostics & repairs, including full diagnostic process, repair, removal, & replacement of air & hydraulic brake systems components & brake diagrams; Reviewing all assignments & schedules with shop personnel & ensuring all information is fully understood prior to completing assignments; Providing any feedback to Shop Manager; Completing all repair tasks such as disassembly, adjustment, repair, rebuilding, replacement, reprogramming, & reassembly; Performing tasks related to diesel & gasoline engines, air & hydraulic brakes, suspension & steering, electrical/wiring/instrumentation systems, Heating, Vacuum, & Air Conditioning (HVAC), audio & video, transmission & drivetrain, body & frame, interiors, wheels & tires, glass, & sewage waste collection. Required qualifications: 7 yrs exp. working on diesel or commercial buses; Good, clean driving record; Able to obtain Class B license; Forklift exp.; Knowledge of diesel engines, automotive gas engines, brake systems (air & hydraulic), & electrical systems along with general knowledge of any heavy equipment repairs; Able to travel. Tue-Fri/10:00am-7:00pm, Sat/5:00am-2:00pm, off Sun & Mon + overtime. Direct Hire position with benefits & tool allowances. Wage: $43.00-$47.00 hr. (#5.0813.221 – Ontario)
