Welder II

Needed in Hemet, CA. Duties include: Performing surface preparation, brazing, metal cutting, & welding using saws, presses, gas & electric welding equipment to fabricate flow meters; Receiving instructions, printing, & working orders for each job; Planning details of working procedures, tools, & material requirements; Fabricating flow meters & components or structures by cutting, bending, burning, & welding various metals by using welding techniques & appropriate welding equipment; Cleaning & preparing surfaces to be welded; Setting up, assembling, & tacking welded parts; Building up worn or defective surfaces when appropriate; Using burning equipment & saws to dismantle assemblies or parts & cut material to size & shape as necessary; Checking own work for conformance to prescribed standards & measurements using variety of measuring instruments; Using knowledge of equipment, work processes, & safety practices to work efficiently & safely; Observing & complying with all safety regulations & company policies; Maintaining clean, orderly, & safe work area & ensuring proper handling of tools, equipment, & stock to prevent loss; Operating powered industrial truck (forklift) to load & unload material; Maintaining commitment to teamwork & positive, supportive attitude to all personnel.
